This position needs to have comfortable working with the manufacturing industry as well as high technology-driven products with LG and customers. This role is focused on developing a project and deeply involving technical requirements in the development as well as issue resolving. Customer & Tier companies communication and development management to ensure strength and innovation in the LG automotive business. This role is directly influencing the integration project development across all LG and automotive manufactures and requires a confidant with identifying problems, communicating the concerns and driving for closure in order to deliver the best development quality within the time frame with build trust while demonstrating excellent features implementation and problem resolving skills. This role must play nice with others, have a humble service mindset, and be a results-driven self-motivator. This role requires strong collaboration skills, a humble service mindset, and the ability to independently drive results.Responsibilities:- Resolving Hardware issues and communicate the customer to handle the issues.- Manage OEM customer design request, develop APQP and manage 3rd party solution- Support to identify and manage all feature issues, publish a weekly report- Support cross-functional teams Validation, Manufacturing, Sales and Quality, customers- Communicate with LGE HQ cross-functional teams not limited to program- Support multiple teams such as program management, validation, quality team.- Release weekly development progress report and communicate with customer's engineers.- Vehicle Infotainment & Telematics feature and Vehicle interface technology products preferred.- Automotive materials or service new technologies to industry players.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3+ years or equivalent experience in automotive Prior experience or knowledge of:Managing multiple technical projects simultaneously and delivering to agreed-upon cost, quality, and timing expectationsAutomotive development process or service new technologies to industry playersVehicle Infotainment features & Telematics and Vehicle interface technology productsHardware development skill (EE design process including schematic design, board layout, circuit analysis, Wi-Fi/Modem/BLE/Bluetooth/UWB/Cellular)Working across multiple disciplines (SiriusXM, Carplay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, WiFi, Audio sound control, RF, OTA, VIF, CPU&Micom, Network, Hardware, testing)Leading and manage engagements with customers (mostly internal), collaborators, and 3rd party developersMS office software applicationsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with transparencyStrong commitment to quality and attention to detailDesire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologiesPassion for technology and problem solvingMaintain regular on-site attendance at the designated work locationConduct work activities and/or attend occasional meetings after regular business hours when necessary.Maintain respectful work-related interactions and communications at all times.Adhere to all established company policies and procedures, work rules, and code of conduct.Travel/Physical Requirements: Up to 15% travel(domestic and international)Use of X-ray equipment and environmental chambersAbility to:Sit/Drive and/or test in a vehicle for up to 8 hours a day, up to 4 hours at a timeAbility to lift/carry up to 30lb samples, benches, box and toolsInteract with display/center controller/steering wheel while driving or while stationary testingPreferred:Prior experience with:IATF 16949 certificationAPQP&FMEA certificationBenefits Offered Full-Time Employees:No-cost employee premiums for you and your eligible dependents for competitive medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits.Auto enrollment with immediate vesting of competitive company matching contributions in a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with several investment options.Generous Paid Time Off program that includes company holidays and a combined bank of paid sick and vacation time.
