Laboratory Analyst I - Eurofins Environment Testing - Charlotte, NC
$20 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Entry-level laboratory position preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methodology. The analyst works under supervision performing routine lab tasks including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data recording, and instrument maintenance in compliance with quality assurance programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental samples using standard techniques and protocols
- Perform chemical analysis and calculate resulting data
- Record and report analytical data and any unusual test occurrences
- Conduct routine instrument maintenance and operation
- Maintain housekeeping standards and safety compliance in work area
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or 3 years laboratory experience
- Reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in English
- Problem-solving and mathematical skills with ability to use calculators and formulas
- Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions
- Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
- Experience or trainability in gas chromatography, wet chemistry, or metals analysis
Compensation: $20/hr
