Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Generalist

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated  Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Generalist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing while ensuring accurate, timely results that support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, and other assigned areas.
• Analyze, review, and verify test results for accuracy and completeness.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and laboratory reports.
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers.
• This role includes regular weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist ( CLS ) License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
• Working knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
