Job Description
Healthcare Professional - Nursing

Schedule

12-hour shifts, primarily nights, with a schedule including every other weekend and holiday.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 4+ years recent acute care experience, with some experience in step-down required.
• Experience with Meditech IVs and telemetry.
• Able to quickly adapt to different units.
• Must independently read telemetry strips and pass a certification exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (two attempts allowed).
• Psychiatric experience is highly preferred.
• Strongly prefer EPIC experience.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care.
