Job Title Seasonal Sous Chef – Daddy O Restaurant Description A Fearless Restaurants Sous Chef will be a positive, professional, and creative leader, able to inspire and mentor a team to be organized, professional, and detail oriented. The role involves collaborating on seasonal menu changes, creating dishes that reflect modern twists on comfort food, and maintaining a high standard of culinary excellence throughout service. Responsibilities Develop new menu items and seasonal dishes in collaboration with the culinary team. Mentor and guide kitchen staff to uphold professionalism and organization. Prepare and execute dishes across all stations, including expo, while ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and adherence to health regulations. Assist in food budgeting, cost control, and optimization of menu pricing. Requirements Experience cooking in a professional environment preferred. Open availability May through September. Professional demeanor with a strong temperament. Passion for local purveyor and farmer relationships. Advanced knife handling skills. Strong leadership and creativity in menu development. Sound cooking skill and technique. Ability to confidently work all stations including expo. Desire to create nutritious and imaginative family meals. Knowledge of food budgeting and cost optimization. Food safety knowledge. Experience in staff education and training. Salary & Benefits Compensation dependent on experience.
