You'll provide quality patient care in a safe, secure correctional environment while helping establish the strong healthcare standards SHP is known for.What You'll DoAs an LPN at Worth County Jail, you'll provide direct nursing care to patients while working as part of the SHP healthcare team. Your responsibilities may include:Providing compassionate nursing care to patientsAdministering medications and treatments as orderedCompleting patient assessments and documenting careMonitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the appropriate healthcare providerAssisting with sick call and ongoing patient healthcare needsCollaborating with RNs, providers, and other members of the healthcare teamMaintaining accurate and timely medical recordsSupporting continuity of care within the correctional healthcare settingWorking independently while following established clinical protocols and proceduresA Different Kind of 12 Hour ShiftThis isn't hospital nursing.No rotating hospital units. You'll work a 12-hour rotating schedule at one secure facility, providing consistent care to an underserved population while developing your skills in a unique healthcare environment.
