Warehouse Operations SupervisorPitney Bowes is now hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in our Salt Lake City, UT Presort facility!Salary range: $54,000.00 - $67,000.00 annual salary + 6% field bonus.As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.2nd Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 5:15 pm - 1:45 am. Saturday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.You Are: As an Operations Supervisor you will work with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements. Your career with Pitney Bowes will help you be an integral part of the operation that will support not only your career development but our business' continued growth.You Will: Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.Responsible for overseeing the production workers on designated shift. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOversee quality function throughout the production area. Assure TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all timesAssist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations. Assure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shiftsOffer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.Other duties as assignedYour Background:Minimum of one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environmentStrong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and emailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State. Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodationBased on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance noticeOur Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®.
