Support is built in: scheduling, nursing, and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. The patient population is stable, insured, and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.36000 Darnall Loop, Fort Hood, TX 76544ResponsibilitiesAdmit, round on, and discharge adult inpatientsLead the daily plan of care with nursing, case management, and consulting servicesPerform admission histories and physicals and daily progress documentationCoordinate transitions of care and discharge planningRespond to inpatient consults and rapid-response events during the shiftQualificationsActive, unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineRecent inpatient/hospitalist experienceScheduleScheduled shifts with defined start and stop times, published 90 days in advance. Coverage includes an average of 1–2 weekends per month. Federal holidays are observed per the coverage schedule.
