Senior Performance Test Lead - Finance Systems

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Lead Performance Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Lead Performance Test Engineer (BACKFILL FOR ACTIVE CONTRACTOR), you will be an integral part of the Performance Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Lead Performance Test Engineer Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Pay Range: What's the Job? Lead performance testing efforts for complex financial applications, ensuring system stability and scalability. Participate in the development and review of performance test plans and strategies. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to mobilize resources and address performance issues. Lead performance defect triage meetings and drive solutions-oriented discussions. What's Needed? Must have prior lead experience in performance testing within a financial services environment. Proficiency in LoadRunner (VuGen scripting) at a medium to high level of expertise. Strong understanding of performance metrics such as TPS, RT, Memory, GC, CPU, and IO. Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, and Performance Center. Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. What's in it for me?
