Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Columbia, MO Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,160 per week Shift: Night 3x12 (19:00-07:30), 5 days per week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/03/2026 About the Position We are looking for a qualified ICU/critical care RN for a 13‑week contract at a Columbia, MO facility. The role includes night 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) with call coverage, weekend shifts, and 50% holiday work. The RN will be required to float within the ICU cluster and may move to Med‑Surg units as needed. Candidates must be willing to travel and have no local residence within 50 miles of the assignment site. Responsibilities Provide advanced critical care nursing care for adult patients in the ICU. Work 3x12-hour night shifts with scheduled call and weekend coverage. Float within ICU cluster and Med‑Surg units as directed. Maintain 50% coverage of holidays occurring during the contract term. 24/7 patient care, including infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE use. Respond to code situations and manage advanced life‑support interventions (intubation, ventilation, cardiovascular support). Document patient care accurately and timely. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 2 years ICU/critical care experience. Current ACLS and BLS certification. Proficiency in availability of the Cerner charting system is preferred. Strong skill set in arterial line and central line management, ventilator support, CVVHD/CRRT, and high‑flow nasal cannula. Ability to manage IABP/CPAP, blood product administration, and continuous IV sedation. Willingness to travel for up to 13 weeks and comply with COVID‑19 and flu vaccination requirements. Must be over 50 miles local and have a valid nursing license in Missouri or a Compact state. Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols.
