Job Title: Manager of Labor & Delivery RN
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Position Type: Permanent
Shift: Days

Salary Range: $36.43/hr - $51.00/hr

Job Summary:

• Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Labor & Delivery department
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Drive outcomes aligned with organizational goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage department operations and staff scheduling
• Supervise and support nursing team performance
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols
• Monitor patient care quality and safety
• Coordinate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide on-call coverage every 3rd week (phone/emergency support)

Education & Experience Requirements:

Required:

• Active RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• 1+ year of recent leadership experience in Labor & Delivery (within last year)

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Unit Details:

• 19 Labor beds
• 5 OBED beds
• 3 Surgical Suites
• 80 FTEs

Additional Information:

• Reports to: Director of Labor & Delivery
• Position is a backfill role
