What Youll Do

• Oversee plants, equipment, and operations personnel in the assigned area.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is performed and plants meet operational efficiency expectations.
• Analyze financial performance and develop action plans for corrective measures.
• Coordinate Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance programs with internal and external resources.
• Provide guidance for the personal development of managers and supervisors.
• Manage employee performance through coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Oversee CapEx projects, including planning, vendor sourcing, and execution.
• Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and MSHA.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree (B.S. or B.E.) from a four-year college.
• Three to five years in the concrete business with specific experience in dispatch and working knowledge of delivery and plant equipment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strong customer, supplier, and community relationships.
• Solid organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
• Proficient computer skills including email, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet-based software programs.
