Senior Software Engineer

Aurify is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with our CTO and engineering team to build, scale, and improve our B2C visual AI platform.

**About Aurify**

Aurify lets users turn a photo into high-quality AI videos and avatars with no prompts or editing required. We move quickly and work with the latest image generation, video synthesis, and digital human technologies.

**What You'll Do**

* Build and ship consumer-facing web features across the Aurify platform.
* Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
* Integrate image, video, avatar, and generative AI APIs.
* Build and improve AI generation, media processing, storage, and delivery workflows.
* Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and infrastructure costs.
* Troubleshoot production issues and improve monitoring, testing, and deployment.
* Work closely with the CTO to turn product and technical requirements into production-ready solutions.

**Requirements**

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
* Proven experience building and shipping consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
* Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development experience.
* Strong understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems.
* Experience integrating third-party APIs and taking features from development to production.
* Ability to independently solve complex technical problems.
* Strong communication skills and experience working in a remote startup environment.

**Strongly Preferred**

* Experience building AI-powered consumer products.
* Experience with image/video generation, AI avatars, digital humans, or media-processing platforms.
* Experience with AI model provider APIs.
* AWS, GCP, or Azure experience.
* Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, and production infrastructure.
* Experience optimizing AI/API costs or handling high-volume media processing.
* Startup experience with significant hands-on ownership.

**Tech Stack**

JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL/SQL, Redis, AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, CI/CD, REST/GraphQL, AI generation APIs, cloud storage, and media processing.

You don't need to know everything listed. Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly matter most.

**How You'll Work With the CTO**

The CTO owns the technical vision, architecture, engineering strategy, and AI direction. Your focus will be hands-on execution and product development.

You'll take ownership of projects, make sound technical decisions, communicate issues proactively, and ship reliable, high-quality code.
