Intercompany Accountant

Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!What are you going to do?As an Intercompany Accountant,you will support the Global Intercompany Accounting Team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple legal entities and regions.You will be responsible for managing intercompany accounting activities, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, analyzing financial data, and supporting month-end close processes. Working closely with finance and accounting teams around the world, you will help investigate and resolve accounting differences while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.What You'll DoSupport the monthly intercompany close process for assigned entities and regions, ensuring activities are completed accurately and on time;Prepare intercompany journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation in line with accounting policies and procedures;Analyze intercompany accounts and investigate balance differences, aging items, and reconciliation discrepancies;Support foreign exchange (FX) analysis, settlements, payments, and collections related to intercompany transactions;Assist with intercompany balance confirmations, netting, and settlement activities across multiple legal entities;Review intercompany transactions and automated accounting entries, investigate exceptions, and support issue resolution;Maintain intercompany relationships and accounting configurations within finance systems;Support transfer pricing-related accounting activities and calculations;Prepare documentation and evidence required for internal controls, reconciliations, and audit purposes;Assist with activities related to new entity setups, acquisitions, restructuring projects, and other organizational changes;Proactively investigate accounting issues and collaborate with stakeholders to drive timely resolution;Contribute to process improvement, automation, AI, and system enhancement initiatives;Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient intercompany accounting operations.What do we offer?A competitive salary between 5,700 and 6,400 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week;Hybrid model of work;25 vacation days;8.33% holiday allowance;Pension plan from day one;Access to the Adecco Academy for professional development.Where will you work?You will be working for a global technology company operating in the mobility and delivery sector. The company develops innovative digital solutions that connect people, businesses, and communities, helping create economic opportunities in cities around the world.What do we ask?Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within intercompany accounting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, or a multi-entity environment;Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, foreign currency (FX), and month-end close processes;Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate accounting discrepancies;High attention to detail and experience working with large volumes of financial data;Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;Experience working with ERP or accounting systems;Nice to HaveExperience with intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, settlements, netting, or intercompany reconciliations;Experience working with Oracle ERP, including Oracle Fusion;Knowledge of FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close) or similar consolidation tools;Experience in a global accounting environment with multiple currencies and legal entities;Experience supporting system implementations, migrations, UAT/testing, or finance transformation projects;Familiarity with SQL, AI-enabled tools, or technologies used to improve accounting processes;Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global teams.Are you interested?Ready for the next step in your finance career?
