Graduate Engineer, Geotechnical

What You Will Do Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and special provisions. Support field inspections and contribute to the development of evaluation reports. Collect and analyze data to prepare clear, concise technical reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project planning and execution. Work under direct supervision to create or revise civil and structural design documents and drawings. Perform engineering support tasks, including calculations and structural analysis, with minimal supervision. Learn and apply relevant industry standards. Gain proficiency in using the document management system and adhere to corporate engineering practices. Participate in site visits to gain hands‑on experience in substation construction and design. Demonstrate accountability for the quality and accuracy of assigned work. Proactively identify and communicate potential project issues and suggest possible solutions. May remain in stationary position for extended periods. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. periodically. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related field) required. Prior internship, co‑op, or research experience in a related field is a plus. Successful completion of the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam within one year of employment is required if not already certified. Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required. Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive). Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment. Must be able to work onsite at a WSB office, as needed, up to five days per week, as required by the project, client, or hiring manager. Travel or field visits may be required to support project needs, sites may include active construction areas, active roadways, or offroad areas. Travel may be required.
