Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:15 - 20:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active California RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - On-call and weekend availability Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. An active California RN License is required at the time of submission. Candidates must hold a BLS certification. Experience with the Epic charting system is essential. This position requires on-call availability, approximately one weekday per week and one weekend day per month. Weekend call is for 24 hours, and weeknight call is from 6:45 PM to 6:15 AM. Floating to other areas may be necessary, so flexibility is required. The nursing role involves circulating in multiple procedures during each shift. Candidates should have experience in a community hospital setting. This is a high-volume environment, focusing on spine, orthopedic, and bariatric procedures. The RN will assist with room turnover and will be expected to manage multiple procedures throughout their shift.
