Furnace Operator - Tulsa

Thermal Specialties is urgently hiring a Furnace Operator to join our Heat Treat Division in Tulsa, OK. This is a hands‑on manufacturing role for someone who enjoys working with metal, following precise processes, and being part of a team that delivers quality results to customers. Key Responsibilities Monitor furnace processes to ensure required time, temperature, and atmosphere specifications Load, fixture, and process materials according to production schedules Complete accurate documentation on shop orders and furnace charts Minimize downtime and gaps between furnace loads Monitor furnace equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Ability to work in extreme temperatures and a physically demanding environment Strong time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Preferred Experience with industrial furnaces or heat‑treat operations Mechanical or maintenance experience 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or metalworking Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme high/low temperatures and a physically demanding environment Frequently required to stand for long periods of time While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Days Worked: Currently Monday thru Friday Nights shift: (shift differentational pay rate) 2nd shift: 3-11:30pm 3rd shift: 11:00pm- 7am Training: 7:30am training may be on Day shift only.
