Land & Commercial Manager

Navitas Petroleum is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative Land & Commercial Manager to join our Houston team. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in one of the industry's most active deepwater portfolios while working alongside experienced professionals across Land, Business Development, Exploration, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams. As a Land & Commercial Manager, you'll be involved in every stage of the asset lifecycle—from lease sales and acquisitions to development and operations. You'll work directly with industry partners, government agencies, and executive leadership on high-impact projects in the Gulf of America, with opportunities to support international and onshore assets as well. What You'll Do Serve as the primary land contact for operators, joint venture partners, government agencies (including BOEM and BSEE), royalty owners, and third-party stakeholders. Support Business Development and Operations by assisting with negotiations and administering a wide range of commercial agreements, including leases, Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs), Production Handling Agreements (PHAs), Joint Venture Agreements, farm-ins, and farm-outs. Assist with acquisitions and divestitures through confidentiality agreements, virtual data room (VDR) management, due diligence, management presentations, and transaction support. Coordinate offshore lease sale activities, including lease sale documentation, joint bid administration, and competitive intelligence. Monitor contractual obligations and ensure timely compliance by coordinating closely with Operations, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders. Coordinate and review AFE packages for management approval. Maintain leasehold interests, rental payments, and other lease obligations. Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams evaluating new business opportunities and strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues in Navitas' Houston and Israel offices to support global business objectives. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in oil and gas Land, with offshore experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Petroleum Land Management, or a related field. MBA or Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus. Strong understanding of offshore commercial agreements, lease administration, and regulatory processes. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. Why Navitas Petroleum?
