Job Summary Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe patient environment. PCTs also participate in patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitoring Patient Status Maintaining a Safe Environment Assisting with Procedures Patient and Family Education Emotional Support Documentation Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred Acute Care hospital experience preferred Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment High School Diploma/GED or Graduate from accredited Program Benefits HCA Florida Westside Hospital offers a total rewards package that supports health, life, career and retirement of its colleagues.
