Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - South Atlantic Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 1+ experience acceptable.

Unit Details: - Patient ratio goal is 1:6; may go up to 1:7. - Unit secretary on days; 4 techs every shift. - Uses EKG, bladder scanner, and vein finder. - Procedures performed on unit include wound care, Foley caths, and trach care.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. - 3 12-hour shifts; overtime available.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
