Hospital Lab Assistant - Inventory / SuppliesLabCorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Assistant - Inventory / Supplies to join our team at Ascension St. John Hospital in Tulsa, OK.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMJob Duties/Responsibilities:Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephoneReceive and process stock into inventory management systemProcess orders from lab departments via phone, fax and emailResolve all inventory discrepancies efficiently and timelyMaintain inventory control according to company standardsOrchestrate full monthly physical inventoryDeliver supplies to needed departmentsAdditional Materials duties as neededLoad and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips as neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 years or more of inventory, purchasing and/or supply management experience in hospital lab settingPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or FinanceAssociate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical TechnologyAdditional Job Standards:Knowledge of inventory control and performing physical inventoryKnowledge of market conditions, pricing trends and supply chain logisticsBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsIntermediate aptitude in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data tracking spreadsheets including use of Microsoft Excel with expert knowledge of spreadsheet formulas and creating pivot tables.Strong verbal communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
