Project Manager II

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in San Diego, California Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of medium-scale, medium complexity strategic business and technology projects. Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges. Responsible for budget and resource planning. Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects. Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design. Build business cases and project justifications. B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval. Minimum 5-6+ years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects. PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval. IEEE, IEC participating member. Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools. In-depth knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills. California PE Preferred. Hybrid schedule, Tuesday-Thursday in the office. The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
