Pharmacy Technician (Per Diem)

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs specific duties in the dispensing of pharmaceuticals, in accordance to hospital policies and procedures, professional standards and state board of pharmacy regulations. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: College, technical training, or pharmacy tech certification preferred. Prior experience of one year of pharmacy practice, preferably in hospital practice preferred. Licenses and Certifications Required: Pharmacy Technician License within 180 days of entering position.
