Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology

Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology — Northern New Jersey territory. Responsibilities Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate/grow sales by consistently meeting/exceeding targets in an assigned geography (including in-person meetings). Build strong relationships with healthcare practices; provide disease awareness information, clinical education updates, and healthcare changes. Synthesize complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences; deliver strong presentations/communications. Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor progress and create action plans. Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts, educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenditures. Partner with internal teams (Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing); collaborate with outside partners as needed. Report adverse events per required guidelines; perform required administrative activities (call reporting, expenses, etc.). Adhere to applicable regulations/policies and commercial compliance requirements. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma + 11+ years; OR Associate’s + 9+ years; OR Bachelor’s + 7+ years; OR Master’s + 5+ years. Travel as needed within assigned area; meet onsite visitation requirements (e.g., vaccinations/background screening as applicable). Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications BA/BS; 4+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; strong selling skills in competitive markets; proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred); product launch experience. Compensation and Benefits $153,935–$199,210 base; may include annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
