Superintendent Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily operations at a construction site.
• Leads daily morning meetings with the entire crew.
  
• Follows construction drawings and approved plans.
• Uses ProCore to manage projects.
  
• Orders necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
• Helps to set and stick to the budget and schedule.
• Writes daily logs and other necessary documentation.
• Makes sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed.
• Ensures that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols.
• Works directly with the project manager, architect, and subcontractors in a positive manner.
  

Superintendent Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrates strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excels at motivating a team and has strong management skills.
• Experience with ProCore, required.
  
• Experience using Microsoft Office including word, excel and project.
• Experience working in Hospitals (Infection Control, Safety Protocols, etc.) 
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, and lifting 50 pounds.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desired.
• OSHA 10 required and OSHA 30 desired.
  
• CPR/First Aid certified desired.
• At least 3-5 years of construction experience is required.
