Press Brake OperatorDimensional Innovations is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer / Operator to join our Metal Fabrication team. This is not a repetitive production role. Our team fabricates custom parts and assemblies for unique projects across the country, requiring a skilled professional who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC press brakes for one-off and low-volume work.If your experience is primarily running pre-programmed production parts, this position may not be the right fit. We are looking for someone who can read a print, determine bend sequences, select tooling, create or modify programs, and troubleshoot forming challenges independently.What You'll DoProgram, set up, and operate CNC press brake equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specificationsDevelop bend sequences and determine the most efficient forming methodsSelect appropriate tooling based on material type, thickness, and bend requirementsCreate and modify machine programs for custom fabricated partsPerform first-piece inspections and verify dimensional accuracyTroubleshoot forming, tooling, and setup issuesMaintain quality standards while meeting production schedulesAssist with other fabrication activities as neededWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsExperience programming and operating CNC press brakesAbility to create or modify programs from blueprints and part drawingsStrong understanding of bend allowances, bend deductions, bend sequences, and tooling selectionAbility to independently set up and run new jobs with minimal supervisionExperience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, tape measures, and other inspection toolsAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience in a custom fabrication, job shop, or prototype environmentExperience forming aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other materialsAdditional fabrication experience including welding, machining, assembly, or metal finishingExperience with CNC press brake controls and offline programming softwareWhy This Role Is DifferentAt Dimensional Innovations, you won't spend your day making the same part over and over again.
