ASSOCIATE ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER – SUNNYVALE, CA

Andrews Cooper is a fast‑growing engineering consulting firm focused on HardTech. This role focuses on supporting power and battery‑life validation (days‑of‑use) for next‑generation wearable devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute repeatable power and DOU test procedures on hardware devices Flash device builds (user‑debug / OCB) and configure system settings (MCCLI overrides) Capture and log power‑rail measurements and battery performance data Organize and maintain structured test data and reports Track test runs in shared systems and flag anomalies early Collaborate with engineers to reproduce bugs/regressions and validate fixes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience. MSEE is a plus. 0‑3 years of professional hands‑on experience in Electrical Engineering. Comfort working with command‑line tools and technical/debug environments. Strong attention to detail in measurement and data recording. Ability to follow structured test procedures and document test conditions accurately. Strong curiosity and problem‑solving mindset. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced debugging environment. Up to 20% travel may be required between locations. Reliable transportation required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with hardware bring‑up, power measurement, battery testing. Familiarity with Android debugging tools (ADB) and mobile configuration systems. Basic scripting skills in Python and Bash.
