Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed unit plus 2 procedural beds.
• Maintain quality and safety standards while adhering to nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3.
• Manage complex cardiovascular, trauma, and surgical cases, ensuring comprehensive patient assessments.
• Titrate and manage various infusions including Epi, Norepi, and Propofol.
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 setting.
• Engage in unit-specific orientation and complete required skills checklists.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and eligibility to work in assigned state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required; NIHSS certification also required.
• Experience with critically ill patient populations, specific to cardiovascular and trauma cases.
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and rhythm strip interpretation.
• Flexible with every other weekend and holiday work schedule.
• Ability to adapt to new charting systems, specifically Cerner.
