Accounting Assistant / Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Livermore. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and experience supporting accounting and purchasing functions. Key Details Location: Livermore, CA Duration: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Set up and maintain new vendor accounts Enter and process vendor invoices Prepare and process payments Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely payment processing Purchasing Manage vendor communications and relationships Maintain and update item pricing Place purchase orders with vendors Review order acknowledgements and verify accuracy against purchase orders Qualifications Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Purchasing preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and vendor management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
