We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Specialist II to support a fast-paced planning and procurement team.

In this role, you will serve as a key link between vendors and internal teams, ensuring smooth purchasing operations, continuity of supply, and effective communication across departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Create, manage, and track purchase orders in SAP
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, and issue resolution
• Monitor supply risks and analyze lead time constraints to ensure continuity
• Perform data analysis to identify inventory gaps and improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain vendor forecasts using SAP and Excel
• Track open orders and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and issues
• Support invoice reconciliation and resolve purchase order discrepancies
• Manage a shared team inbox and respond to inquiries promptly
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support purchasing and planning decisions
• Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, marketing, procurement, and planning teams
• Act as a central coordination point, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
• Communicate key insights, risks, and opportunities to internal teams

• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, supply planning, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (inventory, reporting, purchase orders)
• Strong Excel skills , including pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience managing purchase orders and vendor relationships
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
