Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of client technology projects. This person will work closely with clients, developers, designers, technical leads, and senior project managers to ensure client expectations are met, requirements are documented, priorities are clear, deadlines are tracked, and nothing falls through the cracks. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, communicates confidently, takes ownership, drives results, and wants to grow into a larger project management or client delivery position. Because Devfinity works with an international development team in Nepal, this role will also require periodic communication and meetings outside standard business hours, including some after-hoursavailability. Most of the work will occur during normal Salt Lake City business hours, but candidates must be comfortable coordinating with the Nepal team when project needs require it. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is not a remote or hybrid role and regular attendance in the office is an essential expectation of the position. The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000. Responsibilities Coordinate software, data, website, automation, and AI projects. Maintain project plans, timelines, tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Lead or participate in client and internal project meetings. Document requirements, decisions, action items, and next steps. Follow up with clients and team members to keep projects moving. Coordinate regularly with Devfinity’s development team in Nepal. Identify blockers, risks, scope concerns, and delays early to keep deliverables on track. Review completed work against requirements to prevent defects before it reaches the client. Coordinate testing, client feedback, revisions, and project launches. Keep project documentation and management systems accurate and current. Qualifications 0 to 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, client service, operations, or a related role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Confidence communicating with clients and holding team members accountable. Comfortable learning technical concepts and working with developers. Ability to work full-time from our Salt Lake City office. Availability for occasional after-hours meetings with our Nepal team. What Success Looks Like Clients receive regular, clear, and professional communication. Project plans and task statuses are accurate and current. Requirements, decisions, and next steps are documented. Team members understand their responsibilities and deadlines. Communication between the Salt Lake City and Nepal teams is consistent and effective. Risks and blockers are identified before they become major problems. Completed work is reviewed and validated before reaching the client. Projects are delivered with fewer surprises, missed details, and communication gaps.
