About Our Organization

We are the second-largest county-owned health and hospital system in California, dedicated to enhancing the health of approximately 1.9 million residents in our county. Our system includes four hospitals: a central facility with 731 beds, a hospital with 358 licensed beds, another with 93 licensed beds, and a facility with 258 licensed beds. The newest addition to our healthcare system is a Level 2 trauma center, which also serves as a STEMI receiving center and a thrombectomy-capable stroke center. Alongside busy inpatient services, we have an outpatient clinic on-site to facilitate efficient elective outpatient practices.

Our providers benefit from an integrated electronic health record system (Epic), which consolidates patient information across the system. Our organization has achieved the highest level of recognition from the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) for our ongoing innovation and optimization of both inpatient and outpatient electronic health records.

About the Department

The Center for Digestive and Liver Health comprises 14 full-time gastroenterologists and 6 advanced practice providers across all four hospitals. We offer extensive expertise in ERCP, EUS, capsule endoscopy, balloon enteroscopy, transplant hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, and nutrition. Our team conducts several educational conferences weekly, collaborating with colleagues from surgery, interventional radiology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

About the Position

We are looking for a full-time board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist to join our expanding Center for Digestive and Liver Health. Proficiency in EUS and ERCP is essential to meet the increasing clinical demands within our organization. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to treating a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in our diverse patient population. Compensation and Benefits

We provide a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 36 days of leave annually, 13 holidays, and 5 CME days.
