Security Guard – PRN Facility: Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Position: Security Guard Location: Irvington, NJ Shift: PRN – Saturdays, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM Pay Rate: $15.92 per hour About the Position Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and observant Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This position is responsible for facility security, visitor access, alarm monitoring, CCTV surveillance, and responding appropriately to emergencies. Responsibilities Monitor the facility entrance and front lobby to maintain safety and security. Monitor the front door and help prevent resident elopement . Control visitor access and maintain visitor sign-in procedures. Monitor CCTV cameras, fire alarms, and door alarms . Follow established procedures for elopement, security incidents, and emergencies. Respond quickly and appropriately to disruptive or suspicious activity. Assess individuals entering or attempting to enter the facility. Maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift. Operate a multi-line telephone system and assist with front-desk communication. Follow all facility policies, security procedures, and applicable regulations. Conduct required facility screenings according to current protocols. Protect the safety and security of residents, staff, and visitors. Requirements Security or healthcare facility experience preferred. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and take appropriate action during emergencies. Ability to assess and respond to potentially disruptive or suspicious individuals. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment. Professional telephone etiquette. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently. Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), nursing home, healthcare, hospital, or senior living environment is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
