Job Overview:
This is an entry level position but experience in the following skills is a plus: QuickBooks (online and desktop), tax preparation, financial statement preparation, sales tax reporting, and payroll processing across various industries. The position requires a 4-year degree, and the expectation is for the candidate to start working towards a CPA certification. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills and grow within a supportive firm that values career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform data entry and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks (both online and desktop versions). 

· Prepare corporate and individual income tax returns.

· Prepare accurate financial statements for a variety of clients. 

· Manage and report sales tax filings. 

· Process payroll, including filing payroll tax returns and remitting payments to taxing authorities. 

· Experience with AI a plus for accounting integration and task management. 

· Ensure compliance with all tax filing requirements and deadlines.
