We are seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to join our team at a large distribution facility in Merrillville, Indiana. Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the facility during overnight hours
- Conduct walking patrols of the property approximately 5-6 times per shift
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security incidents
- Maintain accurate activity and incident reports
- Provide a visible security presence to help ensure a safe environment
- Previous security experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform regular walking rounds throughout the shift
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- $20.00 per hour
- Paid bi-weekly
- Consistent weekend overnight schedule
