Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload
• Effective communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to individualized education plan (IEP) implementation
• Strong collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate varying abilities
• Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Regularly communicate student progress with caregivers and stakeholders
