Welcome to Love's! Retail Accounting is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant II to join the Love's Truck Solutions Accounting team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations and identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Complete journal entries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, identifying key trends or variances.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers, taking further action when necessary.
• Support in the preparation of deliverables for operations and communicate supporting information.
• Complete various regulatory filings.
• Use independent judgment in developing enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of tasks, reports, or other procedures.
• Understand the Company's reporting systems and processes.
• Build productive working relationships with other accounting departments and operations.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting typically required.Experience:
• 2 years of related experience.

Skills:

• Hard skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Soft skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to make decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines, excellent time management skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and be a team player.

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.,
