Zuricare Staffing Service is immediately hiring local Contract Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our caregiver registry.

We are a recently established staffing service that is actively growing its client base and its caregiver registry. As we continue to build partnerships with facilities, there will likely be a wait before we place you in assignments. RN Requirements:

• Valid LPN License
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
  

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the nursing leadership team, Registered Nurses assigned by Zuricare will be responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating nursing care for a specific unit during her/his shift.

Among other things, Registered Nurses assigned by Zuricare will do the following:

• Receive report(s) from the previous shift, making sure that she/he/they have/has all pertinent information on each resident.
• Continuously evaluate behavior, symptoms, reactions and progress of residents and discuss findings with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. 
• Administer and document all medications according to established policies and procedures, physicians’ orders and Department of Health regulations.
• Perform all treatments according to physicians’ specific orders and established policies and procedures.
• Discuss the need to discontinue or change medications or treatments with the Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse.
• Order prescribed medications, notify the pharmacy of discontinued medications and ensure the accuracy of medications and dosages when received from the pharmacy. 
• As directed, perform supervisory role in the facility. 
• As applicable, admit residents to the facility upon their discharge from the hospital. 
• Transfer acutely ill residents from the facility to the hospital as needed and as applicable.
• Communicate with medical team. 
• Communicate with the nursing leadership team on changes and occurrences.
• Complete accident and incident reports. 
• If acting in supervisory role, supervise LPNs and CNAs
