Business Analyst Business Analysis/Project ManagementJoin a modernization initiative as a Business Analyst supporting regulatory systems and digital workflow improvements. In this contract role, you'll lead business process analysis, requirements discovery, and workflow mapping—translating operational needs into actionable technology requirements while helping maximize existing Salesforce and Microsoft Power Apps investments.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with agency staff to learn, analyze, and document existing business processes and workflowsDevelop current-state and future-state process maps that identify gaps, bottlenecks, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunitiesLead requirements discovery and translate business needs into clear technical requirements and functional specificationsServe as a primary liaison between business-side staff, enterprise IT, and third-party managed services partnersPropose efficient technology solutions that maximize existing Salesforce and Microsoft Power Apps investmentsDevelop and/or support UAT plans, scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteriaCoordinate UAT activities with business and technical teams, track defects, document results, and support issue resolution and retestingConfirm delivered functionality meets approved requirements and business expectations prior to implementationConduct system demonstrations, user walkthroughs, and knowledge-transfer sessions to support adoptionCollect post-implementation feedback and support reviews to identify additional improvement opportunitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degreeProven expertise in business process mapping, workflow modeling, and structured requirements gatheringDemonstrated experience working with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Power Apps environmentsStrong hands-on understanding of Salesforce capabilities (objects, fields, page layouts, basic automation) and Power Apps componentsStrong background managing relationships across internal business units, corporate IT, and external vendorsProficiency with process-mapping software (Lucidchart, Visio, and/or Miro)Familiarity with Agile project management toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesCollaborative, proactive, and patient approach to navigating government environmentsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience working within a government or public sector environmentProfessional experience or domain knowledge in cannabis licensing and regulationSalesforce Certified Business Analyst (or equivalent credential)About Delphi-US - Peacemakers in the Talent WarDelphi-US is a national IT Services firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
