Key Responsibilities & Duties

* *Caseload Management:* Oversee a diverse caseload of family law matters from inception through final resolution, guaranteeing timely filings and strict adherence to Texas procedural law requirements.
* *Litigation Preparation:* Prepare aggressively for depositions, hearings, and trials by synthesizing evidence, building compelling case theories, and coordinating with witnesses.
* *Legal Research:* Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like Westlaw to support dynamic case strategies and maintain an up-to-date mastery of shifting statutes and case law.
* *Client Advisory:* Communicate transparently with clients to provide progress updates, break down complex legal options, and offer compassionate, steady counsel during emotionally charged situations.
* *Negotiation & Advocacy:* Negotiate strategic settlements with opposing counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients while upholding absolute professional integrity

*Candidate Requirements*

* *Licensure:* Active Texas State Bar license in good standing.
* *Experience:* Minimum of 1 year of family law experience specifically within the Central Texas area.
* *Courtroom Ready:* A strong desire and eagerness to litigate and advocate for clients in the courtroom.
