Major/Essential Functions Inmate risk management Detection of severe mental illness in all inmate interaction General inmate management of severely mentally ill and at risk inmates Process referrals to the medical and mental health providers Completes referrals to crisis management Correct and thorough completion of all types of clinical interviews. Completes all daily documentation by the close of business each day. Notify security ofInmate protection investigation (IPI) and inmate threats toward others as instructed by the Safe Prisons Plan. Processes cancellations of referrals to Behavioral health facility (BHF). Assessments written based upon balanced clinical judgement Effectively prioritizing job duties while maintaining risk management as a priority. Maintains monthly productivity numbers as set by Behavioral Health Management Team. Adheres to all policies and standards. Professional growth, development, and utilization of supervision Professionally complete other unit specific tasks, including suicide prevention screener and mental health chain in reminders. Performs a various to be determined and assigned by the Regional Manager, Senior Director, Direct Supervisor, or designees. Conducts telehealth in clinics as assigned Ensures all inmate reminders are accurate and complete If applicable: Facilitate group counseling and treatment planning for inpatient or otherwise assigned, inmates Grant Funded?
