We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor (8pm-4am; flexible) to direct and coordinate the nursing units while ensuring the highest quality of care for residents . The Nurse Supervisor will oversee daily nursing operations, manage staff, and adapt techniques and procedures as needed to address challenges with initiative and sound judgment .

Nurse Supervisor Requirements:

• Active Nursing License as required by the state

• Ability to work every other weekend

• Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

• Ability to promote and facilitate teamwork among staff

• High standard of ethics and professional integrity

• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures , as well as regulatory guidelines for nursing care facilities

• Ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations

As a Nurse Supervisor, you will:

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the clinical staff to ensure proper patient care

• Complete required record-keeping and documentation upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer

• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to facility medication policies

• Conduct daily rounds of nursing units and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Verify daily staffing levels and make adjustments as necessary to maintain proper ratios

• Collaborate with charge nurses regarding resident care, conditions, and overall well-being

• Respond to emergencies and ensure quick, appropriate actions are taken

• Perform other duties as directed to enhance patient care and facility operations
