Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license and credentials for school practice
• Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and state education requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to assess, develop, and adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized assessments to identify students’ therapy needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support academic and developmental growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and document progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other specialists to integrate therapy within classroom environments
• Provide education and strategies for staff and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered and student outcomes
