Essential Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

A Web Developer must have experience in the planning and the delivery of web applications across multiple platforms. Coordination with the Social Media Manager shall identify and support the subsequent utilization of new technology specific to identified stakeholder groups to proliferate comprehensive, timely and accurate information. Provides web development for WCT online presence, using current software and techniques to satisfy program brand and design objectives. Assess current technology used and make recommendations to ensure technology achieves program objectives. Provides programming expertise recommendations only, with respect to existing software and social media applications. Oversight support for systems programs with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation, checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, guidelines and statistical reporting. All website hosting, and hosting support activities are conducted by outside military services, such as DMA (Defense Media Activities). Provide design creation or input for application and integration solutions. This includes ownership of certain documented deliverables as part of the standard software development methodology.

Education Skills and Experience:

Minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science or other related discipline and six years of experience. Experience required includes work as an applications programmer on large‐scale database management systems, knowledge of computer equipment and the ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. Knowledgeable of applicable industry and government standards.

Valid/Active NACI Public Trust is required

Arlington, Virginia

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

The performance of this effort will include but not be limited to Army Trials at Fort Bliss, Texas, Warrior Games in lead Service designated location, Invictus (location TBD) and other locations as required by the Government
