Part-Time Laboratory Technician I
$19 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a part-time laboratory technician in DeSoto, TX to perform sample registration, testing, and data entry while maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and regulatory requirements in a diagnostics setting.
Responsibilities
- Register incoming samples and maintain accurate daily records for quality control and regulatory purposes
- Enter sample data into eLIMS system accurately and timely
- Conduct laboratory testing on samples and ensure turnaround time goals are met
- Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel for transmission
- Identify process difficulties and non-conformances, reporting with proposed solutions to supervisor
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication with attention to detail
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation: $19 per hour
