Registered Nurse PACU

Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recovery of adult patients post-surgery in a high-volume and high-acuity environment. This position requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced nursing setting and a commitment to effective teamwork.Schedule36 hours per weekRotating Day/Eve/Night shiftsHolidays and weekends may be requiredOn-call and call-back as neededResponsibilitiesProvide excellent post-operative care to adult patients.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Maintain a positive and professional attitude within the unit.QualificationsValid RN License in New York.A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required.Experience in a PACU setting is required.ICU experience is preferred.Strong communication and independent working skills are essential.CertificationsBLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is required.ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is required.Client Details State NY
