Senior Data Analyst

DescriptionKforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Data Analyst.Responsibilities:* Senior Data Analyst will partner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business and data requirements* Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data mappings, and high-level technical specifications* Use SQL to analyze large datasets, identify trends, investigate issues, and provide actionable business insights* Collaborate with technical and data teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented* Perform data validation, mapping, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities* As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support enterprise reporting, analytics, data, and business transformation initiatives* Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination with business users and validation of delivered solutions* Create and maintain business process documentation, requirements, and other project artifacts* Manage and prioritize requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and key stakeholders* Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycleRequirements* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience* 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar business/data-focused role* Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and analyzing large datasets* Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and high-level technical specifications* Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, analytics, or transformation initiatives* Hands-on experience with data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes* Experience with reporting and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or comparable BI tools* Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments* Financial services or capital markets experience required* Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics concepts* Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills* Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms is preferredJob TypeContractCompensation52 - $56
