Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Experience 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 36 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months worked in the last 12 months. Experience with Cerner is required. Requirements Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations. Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare. Additional Details Required Skills/Experience: Post-op cath care. Cardiac drips with titration. Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling hoyer lift, portable hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defib x2 when transporting, EKG machine, and Omnicell. Patient population includes general med-surg and pediatrics, including hemo- and peritoneal-dialysis patients, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac procedures. Common diagnoses/treatments include stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, and cardiac caths/stents. Shift & Scheduling Every other weekend required. No call.
