*Duties*

* 1099 IC Part-time position 2 days per week.
* Provide specialized dental treatments for pediatric patients, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral health education
* Perform dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using appropriate medical and dental terminology
* Conduct dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and aseptic technique
* Utilize digital imaging and other medical imaging tools to evaluate oral health status accurately
* Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices in pediatric dentistry
* Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols
* Educate young patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive measures

*Skills*

* Proven experience in pediatric dentistry with strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
* Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
* Skilled in general dentistry procedures including dental fabrication, prosthodontics, endodontics, and dental extractions
* Ability to perform oral surgery procedures safely while adhering to aseptic techniques
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively in pediatrics settings
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric patients and medical records management
* Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation requirements
* Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on infection control and patient safety
