GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.We are seeking a Technical Accounting Consultant to provide expertise on complex accounting matters, financial reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives. This role will partner with leadership to evaluate accounting treatments and support strategic business transactions.ResponsibilitiesResearch and document technical accounting issuesAnalyze accounting implications of complex transactionsPrepare accounting memoranda and supporting documentationSupport financial reporting and disclosure requirementsAssist with adoption of new accounting standardsPartner with auditors and internal stakeholdersProvide guidance on accounting policies and proceduresQualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingCPA required or strongly preferred7+ years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting preferredExperience with technical accounting research and documentationExcellent communication and presentation skills#GHJSS #LI-LM1We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
